Kali Puja/ Diwali

Kali Puja, is a festival originating from the Indian subcontinent, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali. It is celebrated on the new moon day of the Hindu calendar month of Ashwayuja or Kartika.

Diwali, also called Deepavali or Deepawali, is the Hindu festival of lights. It symbolises the spiritual victory of Dharma over Adharma, light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.

Jagaddhatri Puja 

Jagatdhatri or Jagaddhatri or Mahadurga is an aspect of the Hindu goddess Durga, worshipped in the Indian state of West Bengal and other states like Odisha and Jharkhand.Maa Jagadhatri, the Goddess who is revered as the protector of the world. Jagaddhatri Puja is particularly famous at Chandannagar, Rishra and Singur in Hooghly, Krishnanagar in Nadia and Ichhapur Nawabgunj in North 24 Parganas in West Bengal where it is celebrated as a five-day-long festival. Her worship and rituals are derived from Tantra. It is believed that her worship frees her devotees from ego and all other materialistic desires.

Karnataka Rajyotsava

Karnataka Rajyotsava, is a public holiday celebrated in the Indian state of Karnataka, annually. It is celebrated by Kannadigas across the world, and is marked by the announcement and presentation of the honours list for Rajyotsava Awards by the government of Karnataka, the hoisting of the Karnataka flag with an address from the chief minister and governor of Karnataka, as well as community festivals, orchestra, Kannada book releases, and concerts. It commemorates the merger in 1956 of the Kannada-speaking regions of southwestern India under the States Reorganisation Act to form the state in Bangalore.
